Silicon Beach Oct. Meeting
Wednesday, October 28, 2020, 11:30 AM - 1:00 PM PDT
Category: Silicon Beach

All over the world, international financial institutions (IFIs), such as the World Bank and the International monetary Fund (IMF), play a major role in the social and economic development programs of nations with developing or transitional economies.  What do these organizations do?  Who runs them?  How do they affect us in our business lives or in general?

The answers to these questions will broaden our knowledge of the workings of international economics and potentially help us add value in our commerce and with our clients.  To help us, Professor Ron Batchelder will walk us through this world.  Professor Batchelder received his PhD in Economics at UCLA and his BA in Economics at UC Berkeley.  He has also taught at UCLA and is currently on the faculty at Pepperdine University.

Please join us for this illumination presentation and questions and answers following.

Time will be set aside for attendee introductions, so using the video feature throughout the meeting is encouraged. The presentation will take place during the second half of the meeting.

Please watch the training and read the documents on the BP ZOOM Resource Center, so you are prepared for the meeting. It is essential that you RSVP 24 hours in advance using the link below, so our Membership Coordinator can send you the meeting information promptly.
