Meet The Speaker:

Jacki Granet is the co-founding partner of Blaker & Granet LLP, a woman- and LGBTQ+-owned immigration law firm based in Los Angeles. Jacki counsels clients (companies and individuals) on immigration case strategies, visa options (including temporary visas and green cards), travel restrictions and timelines, as well as relevant changes to policies and procedures. Though she works with many different industries on the business immigration side, she has unique and extensive knowledge of the entertainment, arts, and fashion sectors. Over the past decade, she has processed thousands of visas, including for actors, directors, cinematographers, producers, influencers, social media content creators, musicians, songwriters, fashion designers, creative directors, chefs, architectural designers, executives, engineers, consultants, and more. She also works with individuals to apply for family-based methods of immigration. She approaches every case as an opportunity to help someone achieve their dreams in the United States by applying a critical lens to analyze each client's immigration options, providing transparency regarding the lifecycle of the case, creating compelling arguments to present to U.S. immigration, and boldly advocating for her clients. Whether she works on a marriage-based green card or an extraordinary ability visa, Jacki always loves to witness her clients thrive in the United States.  

In her spare time, Jacki enjoys traveling internationally, going to the movies, visiting friends and family all over the U.S., and playing with her puppy, Polly.
