The May Beverly Hills chapter meeting will spotlight two Beverly Hills Bruin Professionals members, Cesar Pacheco and Barbara Schwartz.

Cesar Pacheco

Cesar Pacheco is a commercial real estate agent at Keller Williams Advisors and separately manages a real estate portfolio for a family office. Cesar offers services as a listing agent, buyers’ agent, and leasing agent in the following asset classes: land investments, multifamily investments, residential leasing services, retail and hospitality Investments, and small office investments. His primary expertise is in finding development sites for real estate developers and understating the operational side of multifamily assets.

He is the current president of the UCLA Latino Alumni Association, vice president of diversity and inclusion for UCLA Bruin Professional, a member of the UCLA Real Estate Alumni Group and a member of the Chancellor's Society Metro Los Angeles volunteer committee. Outside of work and volunteering, Cesar enjoys the outdoors, reading books and exercising. Cesar grew up in Fresno, California.

Barbara Schwartz

She earned her MBA in Finance from UCLA and a BA in Mathematics from Vassar College. She works as an independent consultant and provides the following services: Plan design, funding, installation, conversion, administration, taxation, compliance and benefit studies for all types of qualified and non-qualified retirement plans; Conducting actuarial analyses and preparing comparative studies for defined benefit and cash balance plans; Consulting on IRS/DOL compliance and provide audit assistance; Negotiating with IRS and DOL following preparation and submission of correction program filings; Designing/implementing Participant communication strategies following mergers/acquisitions/plan changes; and Providing unbiased vendor selection (plan administration and investments) for both bundled and unbundled solutions.
